The “gas low” warning light started glowing. I pulled into my favorite gas station and pulled up to my customary #6 tank. For the first time since March 2021, I didn’t just pump a couple of gallons. I TOPPED OUT THE TANK. I felt like a millionaire when I turned left and headed for home.
JANUARY 10, 2024 – DO IT ANYWAY
It’s often said, “If it’s worth doing, it‘s worth doing well.”
There is merit in those words, but for me they have been the kiss of death as I struggle to organize my life.
I waste so much time (and therefore so much of the time left to me) figuring out the best way to start, that I get lost in the wilderness of perfectionism, and nothing gets finished.
I have adopted a new motto for 2024.
It’s not original-other people said it first. But hey! why reinvent the wheel.
I can’t find better ones at least for today.
