Kicking the Tires of July 8, 2017

So many tasks so little time and nothing gets done

Living like the White Rabbit, going down a rabbit hole with a watch in one hand. Late for everything and nothing at all getting done. “I’m late, I’m late for a most important date.” “Hello! Goodbye! “Excuse me please”

Can’t do it, give it up

If my feelings of futility result from a failure of imagination, working harder is not the answer. Perhaps it is a lack of effective systems in place. For a month, I plan to spend more time imaging and less time with frantic “doing?” I will diligently practice “segment intending” and see what happens.

KICKING THE TIRES OF JUNE 30, 2019

Chinese Fire Drill Week

Two cars, and both cars out of service. The week was shuttling back and forth between repair shops. First there was the electrical problem with the Saturn: the daytime running lights stayed on and drained the battery in about twenty minutes.

Next the front bumper on the PT Cruiser half ripped off by the concrete parking stop block at Costco. This was followed by an electrical problem with the PT Cruiser that drained its battery. And then the flat tire.

Everything has been fixed accept the bumper-unless I have a serious problem with the key not going into the ignition switch.
