KICKING THE TIRES OF FEBRUARY 24, 2020

Setting Goals with Imagination

Today’s header image was assembled (by me) three years ago when I first encountered a pack of metaphysical writers including but not limited to Abraham-Hicks, Florence Scoville Shinn, Neville Goddard, Joseph Murphy, Richards Dobbs. I could fill a pound or two of paper with a one-sided conversation about this; however, in the interests of brevity, I am contenting myself with listing three wins that occurred today. April gave G. a pair of Phonak hearing aids, a representative from Sonoma Housing take measurements for the walk-in tub, and G. successfully drove her new “Zoomer” chair to the mailbox.

Love Affair with Coffee Cups

I don’t know why, but I adore coffee cups of all shapes and sizes. Coffee cups and mugs are one of the few things that I can draw. I am a doodler, and my memo pads and notebooks are filled with coffee cup shapes-usually decorated with daisies.

Imagine having a room dedicated to a collection of coffee cups! Of course one wall would be French doors opening onto a balcony. In the center of the room on a Chinese rug would be a comfortable overstuffed chair with a side table.

The remaining three walls would be lined from floor to ceiling with custom shelves custom designed to contain my collection of coffee cups from all over the world. At the bottom of the shelves would be drawers filled with napkins, and other table linen up which I can set my small coffee-pot and the morning’s choice of cup.

Of course, there would be a little library ladder that slides easily along the shelves so I can admire my cups while dusting.
